Angela "Nellie" (Kuglar) Koszarsky

Angela “Nellie” Koszarsky, 93, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016 in Greenville, NC.

She was born on August 25, 1922, the daughter of the late Stephan and Mary Bregon Kuglar.

Nellie spent the last 10 years living with her son Ted and enjoying the North Carolina lifestyle, watching her great grandchildren grow, and visiting the lighthouses of the Outer Banks.

She was married to John Koszarsky, Jr. for over 55 years.  He passed away in June, 2000. 

She was the mother of three sons, John III, who passed away in May, 2005, Ted and his wife Joyce of Greenville, NC, and Tim and his wife Michelle of Canonsburg.  Also surviving are three grandchildren, Theodore James (T.J.), Carolyn, and Julie, all of Raleigh, NC and five great-grandchildren, Hazel, James, Hayley, Ethan, and Zoe.

A graveside service will begin at 12 Noon on Friday, May 20, 2016 in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.  Everyone is asked to please meet at the cemetery.

A memorial mass is scheduled by the Franciscan Mission Associates of Mount Vernon, New York  and a second memorial mass will be scheduled later this summer for the deceased members of the Koszarsky-Kuglar families.

In lieu of cards or flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1101 Western Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA or at www.wpahumane.org.
