Daniel L. Powell

Daniel L. Powell, 15, of Canonsburg passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 7, 2016.

He was born on July 13, 2001 in Beaver to Donald and Amy Merritt Powell who survives.

Daniel was in the 9th grade and was a student at Agora Cyber School. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes, playing the drums, playing video games and was a former Boy Scout. He loved vacationing in Myrtle Beach with his family. His dream was to go to Pitt Dental School and become a dentist.

Surviving, in addition to his parents are paternal grandparents Donald and Claire Powell of Eighty Four, maternal grandparents Ronald Sr., and Candace Merritt of Yulee, Florida, a brother Joshua D. Eaton from Canonsburg and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Daniel was dearly loved by his family and his presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial contributions in Daniel’s memory may be made to The Children’s Cancer Center at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, Make-A-Wish Foundation or the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
