Darlene F DeFilippis

Darlene F. DeFilippis, 63 of Strabane passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at UPMC Mercy Hospital.

She was born on October 28, 1952 in Washington to Frank DeFilippis and June Holland DeFilippis who preceded her in death.

Ms. DeFilippis was a Registered Nurse who retired from Camp Lejeune Naval Hospital.

She was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and animal lover. She enjoyed her close knit family and was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

She is survived by her devoted daughter Tami M. Johnson (Eric) of Hubert, North Carolina, a brother Eugene D. DeFilippis of Strabane two grandchildren Kayla Barnhart and Erica Johnson her nieces Nickie L. Lendo of Bloomingdale, Ohio and Dolores J. DeFilippis of London, UK, whom she raised and loved dearly.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister Rosemary DeFilippis.
