Drew A. Lydick

Drew Allen Lydick, 35, of Saxonburg, formerly of Canonsburg passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016 in his home.

He was born on March 21, 1981 in Pittsburgh, the loving son of Steven A. and Janice M. Mecannic Lydick of Canonsburg.

Drew was a 1999 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School.  He attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and was a graduate of South Hills Beauty Academy, where he studied cosmetology.  Drew was currently a stylist with Super Cuts in Fox Chapel.  He was a dj and musician who enjoyed playing guitar.  He also enjoyed participating in the Anthrocon community.

In addition to his parents, also surviving is a sister, Ann M. (Stephen) Gertz of McDonald; three nephews, Luke, Christian, and Oliver; paternal grandmother, Jerri W. Lydick of Panama City Beach, Florida; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mike and Anna Mecannic and paternal grandfather, Allen R. Lydick.

Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Thursday, August 18, 2016 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, Lin Webb funeral director, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg 724-745-8120.  Private services and interment will be in Queen of Heaven, McMurray.
