Laura M. (Travaglini) Motto

Laura M. Motto, age 95 of Melbourne, Florida, formerly of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at home.

She was born August 18, 1921 in Palena Italy a daughter of the late Thomas and Julia Chiaverini Travaglini. Mrs. Motto lived most of her life in Canonsburg and had been a faithful and generous member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church.

On June 9, 1945 she married Frederick E. Motto who passed away January 21, 2013. 

Surviving are her three sons; Frederick (Sarah) Motto of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Larry Motto of Tampa, Florida and Anthony (Sharon) Motto of Melbourne, Florida, four grandchildren; Amanda, Gabrielle, Katelyn and Charles Frederick Motto and two great grandsons, Blayne and Braxton.

Friends are welcome from 2~4 and 6~8 pm, Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joesph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120 where departing prayers will be recited at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, 317 West Pike Street, Canonsburg. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Motto's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, department 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
