Marlene O. Kay

Marlene O. Kay age 82 of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 25, 2017 in Paramount Senior Living, McMurray following an extended illness. She was born July 29, 1934 in Mutzchen Germany a daughter of the late Erich Alfred and Paula B. Lorenz  Starke. On March 3, 1956 in Germany she married Anton F. Kay who passed away February 24, 2009. Since her marriage Mrs. Kay lived most of her life in Canonsburg where she raised her family. Left behind to cherish her memory are her two children; Ralph (Virginia) Kay and Lucy Kay (Chuck Tolton) both of Canonsburg, two grandchildren; Ashlee and Jordon Kay, a sister Ursula Dontgen of Berlin Germany and several niece and nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are two brothers; Manfred and Heinz Starke.

 Friends are welcome from 4-8pm Tuesday June 27, 2017 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120. A service will be held at 7:30 pm Tuesday in the funeral home. Interment will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Twp.
