Michael A. Black

Michael A. Black, 61 of Washington passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, October 17, 2016 in his home.

He was born on September 8, 1955 in Canonsburg to Franklin and Ellen Labutis Black who preceded him in death.

Michael was a 1974 graduate of Canon McMillan Senior High School. He was a self-employed mechanic. Michael enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.

He is survived by his wife Donna Dean Black of Washington, one son Jeremy Black and his fiancee’ Rachel Hoge of Washington, one daughter Aubrey Black of Pittsburgh, a sister Jacky Black Young (Douglas) of Wesley Chapel, NC, an aunt Betty Labutis, four grandchildren Devin, Gage and Ayden Phillips and Raynin Black and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service celebrating Michael’s life will begin at 6:00 pm. on Thursday, October 20, 2016 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg.
