Wendy Jo Maffio

Wendy Jo Maffio, 36 of Carnegie, formerly of Canonsburg passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, October 1, 2016 in her home.

She was born on April 22, 1980 in Washington to the late Victor Maffio, Jr., and Lisa Pilkington Ammann of Canonsburg.

Wendy had a passion for life and was like a big kid with a free-spirit. She enjoyed attending concerts, sporting events, bowling and going to the beach. She was a loving, caring mother.  Her biggest joy was her family especially her two children Kenvic and Gianna that were her life.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her step-father, William B. Ammann, Jr., of Canonsburg, her two children Gianna Fordham and Kenvic Crouser at home, her brothers Patrick M. Maffio of Boynton Beach, Florida, Zachary S. Maffio of Canonsburg, a step brother, Shaun W. Ammann of Canonsburg, a step sister Shannon (Brandon) Young of Canonsburg, her maternal grandmother Pat Zorzi of Washington  and many aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.

Friends are welcome from 1-8 PM on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120 where services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 6, 2106. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery Canonsburg.
