Patricia Mae Fenton

Patricia Mae Fenton age 72 of Strabane passed away peacefully, Thursday March 14, 2024, in Washington Hospital. She was born December 1, 1951, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Herman “Dutch” and Gail D. Filius Heirendt. Patty lived her entire life in Strabane where she was a member of the SNPJ Lodge 138. She was a 1969 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School. Prior to her retirement she had been employed with Diversified Insurance and for many years before that Nationwide Insurance where she got her first job at 17, because she was in the “Who’s Who Among American High School Students” her mother Gail like to brag.  Patty enjoyed shopping, ceramics, clocks, and angels, now she is one. On August 8, 1980, she married Clyde Fenton. Together, they enjoyed many years of camping. She made an amazing spaghetti sauce and delicious parsley potatoes. Also left behind to cherish her memory is her sister, Joanne (Joseph) Nakoneczny, brother in law Gary (Ilene) Fenton, nieces Jess Nakoneczny, and Desiree (William) Snoderly, nephews, Joseph Nakoneczny III, Domenick (Jennifer) Fenton, Joshua Herron, Joseph Heirendt, Christian and Jacob Maloy, several great nieces and nephews and her dog Sam.  Deceased in addition to her parents is her brother Herman Heirendt who passed awayt November 23, 2011.
