Alfred J. Arnal

Alfred J. Arnal age 67 of Washington, formerly of Houston passed away peacefully Friday January 4, 2019 in Washington Hospital after an extended battle with ALS. He was born February 16, 1951 in McDonald a son of the late Louis and Liberty Van Shuren Arnal. Al lived in Houston for 40 years prior to moving to Washington and was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. He was a Supervisor with Verizon and retired after 36 years of service. Al was an avid golfer and earned the honor of Eagle Scout in his youth. On September 13, 1980 he married his devoted wife Joyce A. Kosharsky who survives. Also left behind to cherish his memory is his daughter Erin Palilla and her husband Ed of Canonsburg, two grandchildren Veronica and Dexter Palilla, three sisters; Rose Scott of Sturgeon, Isabelle Arnal of Crafton and Linda Jordan and her husband Dell of Sewickley and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to his parents is a brother Paul Arnal.

Friends and family are welcome from 2-8pm Sunday January 6, 2019 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor, Darla Tripoli LFD 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where departing prayers will be recited at 8:30am Monday January 7, 2019. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9am in St. Patrick Church 317 West Pike Street Canonsburg. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Twp.
