Kathleen R. Kuhns

Kathleen R. Kuhns age 83 of Washington formerly of Canonsburg passed away peacefully Saturday January 4, 2020 in Donnell House Washington with devoted family by her side. She was born March 28, 1936 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Albert and Laura Agnus Sisko. Kathy had lived in Canonsburg and for many years in Weedville where she was a loving homemaker, mother and grandmother. On April 9, 1954 she married James V. Kuhns who passed away August 8, 2017 after 63 years of marriage. Left behind to cherish her memory are her beloved children; her son James V. (Betty) Kuhns Jr. of Washington, six daughters, Pamela (Tim) Mitchell of Canonsburg, Brenda (Alan) Hupp and Debra A. (Charles) Feiling both of Washington, Judy E. (Jeffrey) Reich of Canonsburg, Linda S. Kuhns of Washington and Sandy (Frank) Castiglione of Pittsburgh, twelve grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one great great grandson and several nieces and nephews. Kathy was the last of her immediate family. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents is her grandson Andy Hete, granddaughter Michele Hupp and two sisters, Alberta Lewis and Eleanor Conners.

Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8pm Wednesday January 8, 2020 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where services will be held at 10 am Thursday January 9, 2020. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens McMurray.
