Ronald V. McNavish

Ronald V. “Roundy” McNavish age 81 of Bridgeville passed away peacefully Saturday, January 27, 2024, in Bethel Nursing and Rehab. He was born January 24, 1943, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Joseph and Florence Shones McNavish. Ron proudly served with the United States Airforce in the Viet Nam War. Prior to his retirement Mr. McNavish had been employed as an Air Traffic Controller at Pittsburgh International Airport, where, over the years, he received numerous accolades and commendation for meritorious service. He was a member of the American Legion Post 902 in Houston was an avid golfer and in his later years enjoyed bingo and Texas Hold’em Tournaments. He was an avid Steelers fan who attended the first four Super Bowls. Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved children, daughters, Rhonda McNavish and Lori (Steven) Kraynak of the Philadelphia area and son Shawn McNavish of  Canonsburg, his sister Denise McNavish of Lawrenceville, 4 grandchildren, Emily, Adam, Luke and Julia, his Aunt Mildred Miller of Indiana, PA and 2 nieces.

Friends and family are welcome from 3 until 7 pm Wednesday January 31, 2024, in SALANDRA FUNERAL and CREMATION SERVICES, INC. Joseph P. Interment with full military honors by the VFW Post 191 Honor Guard of Canonsburg and the United States Air Force will be in Union Cemetery, Robinson Twp at 11 am Thursday February 1, 2024.
