Albert Petrush

Albert Petrush, age 77, of Independence Township, died unexpectedly on October 2nd. He was the son of the late Raphael and Barbara Russum Petrush. Albert was a graduate of Gateway High School.

Albert loved the outdoors and hiking. After retirement, he enjoyed tinkering in the garage working on cars and small engines. He also enjoyed gardening and cutting grass on the “farm”.

He had a love for music and played the fiddle and other instruments. Dancing with his wife is how they met and the dancing continued throughout their life together. He cherished his home in the country, his wife and their many pets.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife, Jamie. They were together for over 30 years. Also surviving are his sons Albert, Jr. and Jon Paul Petrush, brother John and sister Barbara. He was preceded in death by his brothers Karl and Michael.
