Andrew W. Popp, 77, of Lawrence, formerly of Canonsburg passed away February 9, 2009 in Kindred Hospital, Oakdale.
He was born June 10, 1931 in East Brunswick Township, NJ a son of the late Pearl Popp Buichl and Joseph Popp.
He attended Cecil Township High School. He was a member of Faith Chapel Community Church where he really enjoyed the Men's Breakfast and Bible Study Group. He was lasted employed as a brick supervisor for Harris Masonry, Pittsburgh, PA retiring in 1982 because of a disability.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Marillyn Bradburn Popp.
Also surviving are two sons David and Mark of Canonsburg. A daughter Diane (Terry) Felton of Canonsburg. A brother Zolton (Jean) Popp of Canonsburg, and a sister Anna Buichl of Malibu, CA. Four grandchildren and one great granddaughter, two sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, several nieces and nephews and his former wife Irene Yarkosky Popp.
Deceased is a sister Lillian Aureli and stepfather Joseph Buichl.
Friends are welcome at Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120 on Thursday February 12, 2009 from 6-8 PM and Friday from 2-8 PM where services will held on Saturday at 11:00 AM with Rev. James O'Brien of Faith Chapel officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
