Angela L. Belfiore age 89 of Houston passed away peacefully, Saturday May 28, 2022, in McMurray Hills Manor Peters Twp. She was born May 7, 1933, in Canonsburg a daughter of the late Charles and Viola Lucia DeVitis Cerenzia. Mrs. Belfiore live in the Houston area for the past 50 years where she was a member of St. Oscar Romero Parish, Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church in Meadowlands. Angela was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and home maker. She had been employed for many years at the former Thorofare Food Stores, also Arabesque Dress shop for 10 years and prior to her retirement she had been employed at Guyton’s Food Warehouse. Angie enjoyed gardening, sewing, cake decorating and shopping. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and cooking for everyone. On July 30, 1955, she married James R. Belfiore who passed away July 16, 2018, after 62 years of marriage. Left behind to cherish her memory are beloved children Mark (Kathy) Belfiore of Houston, daughters Jamie Belfiore of Canonsburg and Jodie (Jeff) Lukan of Washington, three granddaughters, Breanne (Zack) Galasso of Greentree, Danielle (David) Cass of Hickory and Allison Lukan of Salt Lake City Utah, two brothers, Charles (Cheryl) Cerenzia and Joseph (Adele) Cerenzia both of Canonsburg and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives are welcome from 4 until 8 pm Wednesday June 1, 2022, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where departing prayers will be recited at 9:20 am Thursday June 2, 2022. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am in Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church 300 Pike Street Meadowlands. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Twp.
