Barbara Jean Dellorso, age 92 of Washington, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2026, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 23, 1933, in Hickory, a daughter of the late Earl and Virginia Foster Ayres. Barbara was raised with strong values that guided her through her life. She was a woman of deep faith and a longtime member of St. Oscar Romero Parish St. Patrick Church in Canonsburg. She lived a life rooted in faith, family and quiet devotion to those she cared for the most. Barb was a graduate of Chartiers High School in the class of 1951. Prior to her retirement on February 3, 1995, she had been employed for 30 years at Canonsburg Hospital as a switchboard operator and Blue Cross Clerk. Barbara returned to work part time for Dr. Scheib, Ophthalmologist. On January 23, 1953, she married Matthew Angelo Dellorso Sr. who passed away on June 14, 2008, after 53 years of marriage. Left behind to cherish her memory are her devoted children, Judi (Bill) Berdine, Matt Dellorso and Susie Ringer (Randy), her beloved grandchildren, William (BJ), Bryon, Daniel(Chae), Shaunna (George) and Josh, she found immense joy in her 7 great grandchildren who loved her deeply. Barb also leaves behind her brothers, Tom, Jim and Dave and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are her siblings, Kenneth, Howard (Bud), Nancy, Bill, Kathy, Joe and her grandson Zachary Lee Ringer.

Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 pm and from 6 until 8 pm on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg (724) 745-8120, where departing prayers will be held at 9:10 am on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am In St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church 317 West Pike Street Canonsburg.
