Bertha Bell age 90 of Canonsburg passed away peacefully Saturday, December 4, 2021, in Premier Health Center, Washington. She was born September 9, 1931, in Canonsburg a daughter of the late Joseph and Sophia Rodenski Pabian. Mrs. Bell lived her life in Canonsburg and Muse areas where she graduated from Canonsburg High School and had been a member of Chartiers Hill Presbyterian Church. Bertha was a devoted homemaker, who was an excellent baker and cook. She was an avid bowler who enjoyed gardening and the Pittsburgh Steelers and loved spending time with her family. On July 24, 1954, she married Melvin T. Bell who passed away September 10, 2015, after 61 years of marriage. Left behind to cherish her memory are her loving children Melissa K. DeJohn and her husband James of Washington and her son Wayne T. and his wife Diana K. Headlee-Bell of Bentleyville, three grandsons, Evan T. (Ashley) Bell, James T. DeJohn and David W. (Victoria) DeJohn, six great grandchildren Camden DeJohn, Cecilia and Jack DeJohn, Gideon, Phoebe and Ezra Bell, her sister Helen Kubacki and her husband Mike of Washington and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are four brothers Frank, John Andrew, and Anthony Pabian and two sisters Mary Mosier and Irene Javornicky.
