Beverly P. Campbell age 85 of Canonsburg, formerly of Hickory, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025, in her home. She was born June 1, 1940, in Eighty-Four, a daughter of the late William and Marie Fischer Powell. She was a graduate of East Washington High School class of 1958. Bev lived most of her life in Hickory, was a member of the Chartiers Crossroads Presbyterian Church and a member of the ladies’ auxiliary of the Mt. Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department. Prior to her retirement, Bev had been a manager of the Hallmark Store in the Washington Mall. She and her husband ran Campbell’s Bakery and was active for over 40 years with the Apple Festival in Hickory. Bev enjoyed gardening, was an excellent cook and baker and was a care giver with the stabilizing ability to be a second mother to many of her nieces and nephews. Everyone was always welcome at her home. On March 6, 1959, she married Richard D. “Dick” Campbell who passed away February 28, 2015. Left behind to cherish her memory are her devoted daughters, Connie Burlina of Hickory, Bonnie (Alan) Clayton of Atlanta GA, and Lisa (Jim) McGraw of Hickory eight grandchildren, Christie Burlina, Mackenzie (Brian) Sewchok, Adam (Mackenzie) Clayton, Sara (Kyle) Petty, Hannah Clayton, Joe McGraw, Luke (Samantha) Clayton, Rebecca Clayton (Zach Kelly), great grandchildren Violet, Mason, Eliana, Micah and Lucas, 4 brothers, Donald (Claire) Powell of Eighty-Four, Edward (Linda) Powell of Republic, Howard (Kelly) Powell of Toronto, Ohio and William (Ann) Powell of Selina Kansas, her brother in law William (Jan) Campbell, and numerous nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents, is her son-in-law Ronald Burlina and infant daughter Rebecca Sue Campbell, brothers Tom, George, Jack, Jim and Dick Powell and sisters Elsie Dickson Jane Schussler, Mary Lou Scurr and Margaret Berry.

Family and friends are welcome from 1-3 and 5 -8 pm Sunday June 29, 2025, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg (724) 745-8120 where services will be held at 10 am Monday June 28, 2025, with Reverend Peggy Shannon officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery in Hickory. Memorial donations in Beverly’s name are suggested to Mt.
