Bruce C. Beppler

Bruce C. Beppler age 75 of Washington, (Chartiers Twp.), passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in Paramount Senior Living, Peters Twp. He was born July 30, 1950, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late George and Shirley Huber Beppler. Raised in Canonsburg, Bruce was a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School class of 1969. He was a member of the United Steel Workers of America and was a Teamster. Prior to his retirement Bruce had been employed as a heavy equipment operator at the former Washington Steel Corporation. On June 6, 1969, he married his high school sweetheart, Cathy Mae Chappo who passed away on August 28, 1993, after 24 years of marriage.

Surviving are Bruce and Cathy’s two beloved daughters, Melissa (Jonathan) Babicka of Miami Beach Florida and Michele Beppler of Canonsburg, two grandchildren Layla and Prentice Babicka, his brother Keith Beppler and several nieces and nephews.

Bruce devotedly attended St. Hilary Church and was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast riding all over Pennsylvania and Florida, where he lived for 13 years with his companion of 25 years, Carol McClosky, who survives. Bruce leaves behind his dog Bitsy, a Biewer. Deceased in addition to his wife and parents is his sister Patti Lu Beppler and brother David Beppler.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 am Wednesday December 17, 2025, in St Oscar Romero Parish St. Patrick Church 317 West Pike Street Canonsburg. Interment will follow in Mt.
