Carmella A. Tomsic

Carmella A. Tomsic age 69, of Canonsburg, passed away unexpectedly Friday August 22, 2025, in Canonsburg Hospital. She was born on December 23, 1955, in Canonsburg, and was a daughter of the late Guy Timothy and Josephine O’Shanka Cornell. Carmie lived her life in the Canonsburg area and was a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School class of 1974. She was a member of St. Oscar Romero Parish, St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. Prior to her retirement, Carmella had been a teller at Slovenian Savings and Loan Association for 23 years. She was a member of the SNPJ lodge of Strabane and enjoyed the company of her dogs Dixie and Ellie. On August 13, 1976, she married William Tomsic Jr. who survives after 49 years of marriage. Also left behind to cherish her memory is her daughter Lindsay Tomsic (Jason Southern) of Houston, her grandchildren Lathen Lesjak, Jaelyn Tomisc, Korynn Southern and Bensen Tomsic her sister Debra Rubis of Houston and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents is her sister Kathleen Johnson.
