Shortly after arriving in the United States, she met Chito in Queens, NY and they married in 1979. When she joined her husband in retirement they continued to travel the world. They visited a dozen countries and made countless memories along the way. In 2019, they moved to Pennsylvania to live with Jon and his wife, Jenn. She continued to spoil them, and their friends, with the amazing meals she was famous for. Their dog, Ruthie, also enjoyed endless treats as they sat next to each other every day.
