Cynthia A. Zelinsky

Cynthia A. Zelinsky, 97, of Greenville, PA, formerly of Eighty -Four, died Friday, February 2, 2024. She was born November 22, 1926, in Canonsburg, PA, a daughter of the late Dominic and Mary Fenimore. Cynthia was a long-time member of St. Oscar Romero Parish St.Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Canonsburg, where she married Raymond J. Zelinsky on July 2nd, 1949. They enjoyed 58 years of marriage until his death on April 10th, 2008.

Cynthia worked hard to provide for her family, and she was a loving mother. She enjoyed reading and listening to music, playing games, and talking with friends and family, and she did these things until the week of her death.

Surviving are her two sons, Raymond J. Zelinsky Jr. (wife Sherry), of Jamestown, PA and Gregory J. Zelinsky (wife Birgit) of New York, NY; two granddaughters Nicole and Courtney, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her two brothers; and three sisters: Leonard Fenimore, Pete Fenimore, Toni DaPra, Kathryn (Babe) Jorgenson and Mary (Dolly) DiDomenico.

There will be no public visitation, but all are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church, 317 West Pike Street Canonsburg at 10 am on Saturday, February 10th. Family and friends will be received after the service for a luncheon at Salandra’s Remembrances Tribute Center, 248 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into the care of SALANDRA FUNERAL and CREMATION SERVICES, INC.
