David M. Hillen, 35, of Eighty Four passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 29, 2016 in his home.
He was born on October 26, 1980 in Washington, the beloved son of Sheree M. Bodvake of Canonsburg and the late David L. Hillen.
David attended Canon-McMillan High School. He worked in masonry and most recently worked as a laborer with Frazier Plumbing in Canonsburg.
David enjoyed body building, riding dirt bikes and street bikes, hunting, and fishing. Above all, he loved his children. He was a very loving and caring father.
Surviving in addition to his mother are two precious daughters, Vanessa and Kaylee Hillen of the home; a loving sister, Brittany (Adam Miles) Ragazzini of Eighty Four; nieces and nephew, Gia Ragazzini, Jackson Ragazzini, and Addison Miles, all of Eighty Four; maternal grandfather, Joseph Bodvake of Canonsburg; paternal grandmother, Cora Hillen of Lawrence; aunt, Linda (JC) Stevens of Cecil; uncles, Jimmy (Lisa Marchando) Hillen of Lawrence and Joseph F. Bodvake of Denver, Colorado; and cousins, Kelsey Stevens of Cecil and Wesley and Kayla Hillen of Lawrence.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Rose Bodvake and paternal grandfather, David Hillen.
Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Monday, May 2, 2016 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, Lin Webb funeral director, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg 724-745-8120 where a funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 with Rev. Donald O’Hare officiating. Interment will follow in Woodruff Memorial Park, North Strabane Twp.
