Deborah Martin passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 14, 2024, in her home with her devoted family by her side. She was born January 10, 1954, in Washington a daughter of the late Oriendo “Gent” and Magdelen “Marge” Rozeck DiMatteo. Debbie lived her life in Canonsburg where she was a faithful member or St Oscar Romero Parish St Patrick Church where she volunteered at fish fry’s and made many pierogies over the years. She was a graduate of Canon-McMillan Sr High School, Class of 1971 and then attended Bradford School of Business. Prior to her retirement Deb had been employed as a Senior Field Clerk with Verizon, where she had worked for 37 years. She enjoyed fishing, boating, fostering kittens, planting flowers and enjoyed visiting the casino. An animal lover, Deborah served as a volunteer, holding the position of VP on the board of directors at Fix ‘Ur Cat, where she effortlessly gave of her time and was an invaluable asset with her kindness and dedication. On August 22, 1981, she married Thomas J. Martin who enjoyed 42 years together. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her beloved daughters Erin Martin (Fiancé Clark Mitchell) of Canonsburg and Kristen Martin Reilly and her husband Andrew of Carnegie, her sisters Orlene DeMatteo and her husband Paul Abramowitz Deborah A. Martin age 70 of Canonsburg passed away peacefully of Scarborough, Main and Annette DeMatteo of Eighty-Four, several nieces and nephews and 3 grand dogs. Deceased in addition to her parents is her sister Catherine DeMatteo, who passed away July 5, 2019.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on St. Oscar Romero Parish St. Patrick Church 317 West Pike Street Canonsburg. Interment will follow in Woodruff Memorial Park.
