Diane L Markle

Diane L. "DeDe" Markle, 66, of Bridgeville, formerly of Canonsburg, Cecil Township, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 15, 2025, in her home. She was born July 25, 1958, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Daniel and Nancy Benton Aston. DeDe lived most of her life in Canonsburg area and was Baptist by faith. She had been a Certified Nursing Assistant most of her working life and enjoyed crocheting, video games and most of all being with her very close family. DeDe loved her animals and had many cats and dogs over the years. On May 23, 1995, she married the love of her life, Wesley A. "Wes" Markle, who passed away January 31, 2025, after 29 years of marriage. Left behind to cherish her memory are her children: Heather M. (Robbie) Kennedy of Bridgeville; Brittany Brown and her children, Douglas and Maleah Brown of Muse; Heath Groves and his children, Alex and Rayna; and Michelle More and her children, Brittany, Jada, Jacie, Noah and Cody; her siblings, Martin Heinen of Bridgeville, Greg (Susan) Heinen of Canonsburg, Mack (Lisa) Heinen of Finleyville, and Valerie (Craig) Hajnos of Bridgeville; along with four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome from 4pm until 8pm Monday May 19, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P Salandra LFD, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, (724) 745-8120, where services will be held at 4pm Monday. Interment with her husband, will be private in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
