Eric “Ricky” Michael Antosh, 57, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025. Born on March 19, 1968, Ricky was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose warm heart, bright smile, and kind soul left a lasting impact on all who knew him. After graduating from Washington High School in 1989, Ricky began working at ARC in Meadow Lands, where he dedicated 27 years of service before retiring in 2017. He was known for his strong work ethic and friendly spirit. Ricky’s favorite pastimes included fishing with his dad, enjoying coffee on the porch, playing video games, and cheering on his favorite WWE wrestling stars. He had a competitive spirit and proudly participated in the Special Olympics for many years, earning the title of State Champion in 1984—an accomplishment that brought joy to him and pride to his family. Ricky is survived by his loving siblings: Sherri (Kevin) Schmidt, Shannon Scarfo, and Scott Antosh. He was a cherished uncle to Brooke (Collin Siford) Scarfo, Alexandra (Ryan) Wise, Cody Schmidt, Lindsay Schmidt, Tyson Antosh, Tegan Antosh, Taven Antosh and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, John “Rick” and Sandy Antosh, and his brother-in-law, Robert Scarfo. Ricky was truly one of the kindest souls you could ever meet. Always ready with a smile and a handshake, he had a unique gift for making others feel loved and welcomed. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of spending time with him. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Ricky’s devoted caregivers over the past four years—Lisa, Jaleesa, Royleen, and Skylar—whose compassion and care made an immeasurable difference in his life.
