Irene M. Imperatore

Irene M. Imperatore, age 94, passed away on June 16, 2026, at Paramount Assisted Living. She is the daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth Szopo Toth.

Irene married the love of her life, Harry Imperatore, on October 11th, 1952, celebrated by Bishop Anthony Bosco. She worked with him at Imperatore Ford, Inc. Through the years Irene and her husband enjoyed vacationing with friends to many islands, Las Vegas, Atlantic City and a trip to Rome for their 25th wedding anniversary where they received a Papal Blessing from Pope Paul VI. She enjoyed going to the casino through the years.

Irene is survived and will be missed by her daughter, Lisa (David) Baldi, and her grandson James (Kayla) Romano. Also surviving are many cousins, along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother Frank Toth and his wife Helen.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Sunday, June 21st from 2-4pm and from 6-8pm, at Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc, Joseph P. Salandra, Owner/Supervisor, 304 West Pike St, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120. A prayer service with be held in the funeral home on Monday, June 22nd, at 9:40 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at St. Patrick’s Church, 317 W. Pike St, Canonsburg.
