John Raymond age 87 of Strabane, passed away peacefully Sunday February 4, 2024, in Washington Hospital. He was born April 5, 1936, in Houston, a son of the late Samuel and Rose Muto Raymond. John lived his entire life in the Houston and Strabane area, was Catholic and attended Chartiers High School in Houston. He had been employed by Anthony L. Colaizzo as an office cleaner for many years. John enjoyed traveling to Pittsburgh by bus, yard sales, flea markets and Burger King. Left behind to cherish his memory are his caretakers, Donald K. Pritts and his wife Jo Lynn, his brother-in-law and caretaker Robert Pritts, who he lived with, two sisters Angeline Devine of Claymont Delaware and Rose Marie (Barry) Pochiba of Canonsburg and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to his parents is his twin sister, with whom he lived since 1973, Catherine “Aunt Katie” Pritts who passed away May 17, 2018, and his brothers Louis and Guy Raymond.
Friends and family are welcome from 10 am until 1 pm Thursday February 8,2024, the time of services, with pastor Caleb Ramey officiating, in SALANDRA FUNERAL and CREMATION SERVICES, INC. Joseph P.
