John David Pavlek age 69, a hardheaded Russian, met his maker on Friday December 4, 2020 In Lawrence (Hill Station). He was born February 21, 1951, a loving son of the late Peter and Mary Chopak Pavlek. John loved his Pittsburgh sports, especially the Penguins. He also enjoyed music and loved to dance. He was known for his work with youth baseball and his Blue Christmas Lights. John was a member of the French Club, Polish National Union (PNU), the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Lawrence, the Russian Club and Westland Sportsman’s Club. Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved children Jason Pavlek and Amber (Donald) Smittle, his loving wife Tina DiBiaso, his brother Robert Pavlek and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his two grandpups, Jax and Opie. Friends and family are welcome from 1 until 5:30pm, the time of services Wednesday December 9, 2020 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P.
