John Paul Svitek

John Paul Svitek, age 83, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully December 26th, 2023, at The Greenery.

John was born October 31, 1940, in Canonsburg, PA. He was a son of the late John L. and Elizabeth Vargo Svitek. John worked with concrete and as a welder for Fort Pitt Works. He was a member of the White Eagles, Labor Temple, VFW Post #191, and the French Club. John was an avid fisherman and hunter. He is now reunited with his best fur baby, Maxine.

John is preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his son, John L. Svitek and daughter, Jamie Svitek. Also left behind are brothers Gerald (Doris) Svitek, of Tidioute, Kenneth (Patricia) Svitek, of Thornton, Marlane (Terry, deceased) Zaken, of Washington, and Richard A. Svitek.

Per John’s wishes, all services will be private to the immediate family.
