Joyce Joanne Peresutti Drugmand, 82, of Washington, raised in Southview, and lived in Muse for many years, passed away on September 18, 2025. She was born March 25, 1943, and was the daughter of the late Frank J. Peresutti, Sr. and Sophia M. Tutin. After graduating from Fort Cherry High School, at which she was the co-captain of the cheerleading team, she worked for Joy Manufacturing Company. Later, she retired from C.E. Kelly Commissary as an executive assistant to the commissary officer in which she was a valued employee and often recognized for her work. Joyce was an avid sports fan and loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and Penguins; she attended many games with her son. She also attended many concerts and cultural events that took place in Pittsburgh and loved 's sreading a good novel or working on a crossword puzzle. She had been a member of St. Mary's Church in Cecil, Pa. Joyce is a 43 year and three-time cancer survivor and inspiration to many; most importantly, to her son that credits her as the strongest person he knows. With the loss of her husband, Joyce had to be a mother and a father to her son growing up and did an amazing job raising him. She leaves behind her loving son, Larry Drugmand, that took care of her for much of her life. Having to leave him is her one and only regret. Also surviving is her aunt Marceline Tutin of Florida, cousins Claire Baker (Eddie) of NY, Patty Schmitt of Dormont, and Leonard Slugo of Bridgeville, as well as other cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Preceding her in death was her husband, Larry Drugmand Sr. in 1982, her brother Frank J. Peresutti, Jr. in 2020 and sister Rosemarie Harris in 2022. Friends and family are welcome from 9 am until 11 am Saturday morning September 20, 2025, when a Catholic Blessing Service will be held in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. On the way to the interment in Mount Prospect Cemetery, Hickory, the funeral procession will travel through Muse, to pay tribute to and thank the Spadoni family for the love and care they showed Joyce and her son over the years.
