Kurt Kaskie

Kurt Kaskie age 69 of Monongahela, formerly of Canonsburg, passed away unexpectedly, on Tuesday February 10, 2026, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, in Pittsburgh, following surgery. He was born May 21, 1956, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Robert and Norma Mayne Kaskie. Kurt lived most of his life in Canonsburg and was a graduate of Canon McMillan High School class of 1974. He had attended Shippensburg College and was Lutheran by faith. At the time of his death, Kurt was employed as a Customer Service Clerk with Shop N’ Save in the Bethel Park store. He will be remembered fondly for his dry sense of humor and for generously fostering many children over the years. He was a caring cat lover. Left behind to cherish his memory are his sisters, Robin Westover of Indiana, PA, Kelli (Matt) Peters and her daughter Sarah (Mike) Thralls of Soutth Fayette and Shawn Gist and her daughter Gracie of Bethel Park and Shawn, his niece Angela Westover, great nieces and nephews, Liam, Sean and Emma and many friends, colleagues and foster children. “White Rabbit” to you Kurt.
