Margaret A. Bickerstaff

Margaret A. Bickerstaff age 93 of Canonsburg passed away peacefully early Monday morning March 4, 2024, in TownView Heath and Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg. She was born July 28, 1930, in Clarksville PA, a daughter of the late Paul and Mary Brogan Frameli. Mrs. Bickerstaff lived in Canonsburg for 30 years and prior to that in the Scenery Hill area. She had been a telephone operator with the Bentleyville Telephone Company for many years and was a beautician working from her home. Marge was a member of St. Oscar Romero Parish St. Patrick Church in Canonsburg. She enjoyed bowling in her younger years and dancing with her husband, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandsons. In 1950 she married James Bickerstaff Jr. who passed away in 1990, after 40 years of marriage. Left behind to cherish her memory is her son Dennis J. Bickerstaff and his wife Janice of Ashville, NC and her beloved grandsons, Adam J. and James Alex Bickerstaff and John and Alec Nord and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents is her grandson Jonathan D Bickerstaff who died June 1, 2023, sister Carol Gavazzi and Catherine Phillips, and brothers Paul, Robert, James and Gene  Frameli.

Private family visitation with be at SALANDRA FUNERAL and CREMATION SERVICES, INC. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, March 5, 2024, in St Oscar Romero Parish, St. Patrick Church 317 West Pike Street Canonsburg.
