Mary Louise Cullen Thompson

Mary Louise Cullen Thompson, age 89 of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully Sunday morning December 14, 2025, in her home, with her family by her side. She was born March 26, 1936, in Bulger, a daughter of the late John and Sarah Campbell Wigner. Mrs. Thompson lived her life in Canonsburg and was Presbyterian by faith. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a corrugator operator with Union Camp / International Paper from 1973 until 2001. She was an avid sports fan and had season tickets to the Pittsburgh Penguins games, enjoyed shopping, visiting the casino, computer games, spending time with her family and dancing with her husband. On September 24, 2016, she married Ralph W. Thompson Sr. who passed away August 8, 2018. Left behind to cherish her memory are her beloved children; Diane L. (Bernie) Bible, Sherry L. Lamoureaux, Gail N. (Donald) Densen, Pamela R. (Ed) Blanck, Ralph “Butch” (Donna) Thompson Jr. and John T. “Jack” Cullen, her siblings; Sarah Troutman, Cheryl Sager, William Wigner and Donna (Fred) Stewart, 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great- great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband is her son David Cullen, daughter Sandra Plott, 2 grandchildren, Paul Hollenbach III and Samantha Thompson, siblings Marie Weishner, Marth Wigner, Bonnie Lewis, Leonard Wigner and Bendy Holland.

Family and friends are welcome from 10 am until 2 pm Thursday, December 18, 2025, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg (724)745-8120 where services will be held at 1:30 pm with Pastor Joseph E. Wheeler officiating.
