Mary Ann Baker age 80 of Canonsburg passed away peacefully Saturday December 4, 2021, in her daughters home with her family by her side following a brave battle with cancer. She was born June 18, 1941, in Canonsburg a daughter of the late Robert John and Mary Rakar Royer. Mary Ann was a graduate of the last class of Canonsburg High School in 1959. She was then a graduate of St. John’s Nursing School in Pittsburgh and was an office nurse for Dr Hsu in McDonald for many years prior to her retirement. Mary Ann lived her life in Canonsburg where she was a member of St Patrick Church of St. Oscar Romero Parish and the Christian Mothers and Guild. She had belonged to the Canonsburg Coin Club and the SNPJ Lodge in Strabane, enjoyed baking, liked to travel, watch British period dramas and John Wayne movies. She most loved being with her grandchildren, sister, and many cousins. Left behind to cherish her memory are her beloved daughters Jeanette Sanders and her husband Stephen of Warrenton, Virginia and Suzanne Wybranowski and her husband Jeff with whom she made her home, three grandchildren Lauren and Caitlyn Sanders and Wyatt Wybranowski, her sister Roberta Bowden of Pittsburgh and a nephew Daniel Bowden of Pittsburgh.
