Maxine Balazy

Maxine Balazy age 78 of Houston, passed away Tuesday January 20, 2016, in Canterbury Place Pittsburgh. She was born January 13, 1948, in Westland, a daughter of the late Edward and Jean A. Hutchkiss McAnany. Maxine was Presbyterian by faith and lived most of her life in Canonsburg and Burgettstown. Prior to her retirement she had been employed for many years as a clinical aide at the former Western Center in Canonsburg. She was a loving grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, her cats and baking. On November 3, 1984, she married Stanley S Balazy who passed away August 3, 2013. Left behind to cherish her memory are her beloved children, David (Crysta) Constant of Washington, Jody (Dean) Mazutis of Eighty- Four and Jamie (Scott Strimel) Leonard of Houston, her brother Louis McAnany of Pheonix, Arizona and several grand and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband are her siblings John and Dean McAnany, Norma Jean and Marion McAnany and Romaine Semple.
