Michael A. Santelli, 88 of Canonsburg passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017 in the Greenery Center in Canonsburg.
He was born on February 14, 1929 in East Liverpool, Ohio to John and Virginia Carosotta Santelli who preceded him in death.
He was a veteran who proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Mr. Santelli was employed by Mc-Graw-Edison for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed Horse Racing, boxing, football and baseball.
He was the last of his immediate family.
He is survived by his loving companion of over 40 years, Elizabeth “Betty” C. Luba of Canonsburg, her daughters Paulette M. Moyar of Canonsburg and Nancy A. Pearch of Avella and their families and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Emily Reda, Angeline Mazza, Mary C. “Connie” Serenta and Frances Ferelli, brothers Thomas Santelli, Sr., Angelo Calli and Al Calli and nephews Thomas Santelli, Jr., and Jay Santelli.
Friends are welcome from 2:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. the time of services on Monday, October 1, 2017 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner-supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120 . Entombment will be private in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.
