Richard A. Jozwick, age 78 of Wellsburg, West Virginia (formerly of Muse) passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, March 7, 2024. He was born September 28, 1945, in Star City, West Virginia, a son of the late Frank F. and Gladys Hixenbaugh Jozwick. Mr. Jozwick had been a member St. Oscar Romero Parish Holy Rosary Parish in Muse and John the Evangelist in Wellsburg. He was a veteran of the Vietnam and Gulf Wars, retiring from the US Air Force as Master Sergeant after 33 years of service. Rich enjoyed traveling with his wife through his membership in AARP, mowing his lawn, going to the casino, watching Western movies and playing with his family's and friends' dogs. On June 28, 1975, he married Karen A. Saieva who passed away July 6, 2023, after 48 years of marriage. Left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Richard J. Jozwick (Crystal) of Wheeling, West Virginia and John A Jozwick (Kerrie) of Montgomery Texas; his daughters, Angie (James) Laird of Clinton, Mississippi and Thelma Jean "TJ" Dillman of Logansport, Indiana; his brother Ken (Nancy) Jozwick; his grandsons, Toby Corkran and Ezra and Elijah Jozwick; his close friend and cousin Mike Jozwick of Salem, WV, and several nieces and nephews. Deceased, in addition to his wife and parents, are two sisters, Patty Davis and Linda Evans.
