Rudolph J. Katrencik age 77 of Southview passed away peacefully Thursday October 24, 2019 in St. Clair Hospital Mt. Lebanon Twp. with his devoted family by his side. He was born October 14, 1942 a son of the late Rudolph A. and Grace Nahay Katrencik. Mr. Katrencik was Catholic and lived his life in Hendersonville, Carnegie and the past fourteen years in Southview. He proudly served with the United States Navy during the Viet Nam War on the USS Southerland and was a member of the American Legion Post 0082 in Carnegie. Rudy enjoyed hunting and fishing. On June 13, 1970 he married Carol Yarkosky who survives. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his son Jason R. Katrencik and his wife Leigh of Bulger, his sister Janet Kouklakis and her husband Pete of Canonsburg, brother Paul X. Katrencik of Canonsburg, step grandson Anthony Cieslak, a nephew Jeffrey Katrencik, a niece Lisa Katrencik, and two sisters-in-law Lorraine Yarkosky and Jean Yarkosky. Deceased is a nephew Paul Katrencik Jr.

Interment with full Military Honors by the VFW Post 191 honor Guard of Canonsburg and the United States Navy Honor Guard, will take place at 10:30 am In the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
