Samuel S. Evans, Sr.

Samuel S. Evans, Sr., age 78, of Eighty Four, PA, passed away Monday, October 6, 2025, peacefully at home. He was born March 8th, 1947, in Pittsburgh, Pa, son of deceased Melvin D. Evans, Sr., and Theresa Calabrese Evans. Samuel lived in McKees Rocks and later moved to Eighty Four, Pa. He was a member of the VFW in McKees Rocks. Samuel worked for 13 years at Robinson Developmental Center as a custodian and also worked in the automotive industry as an auto technician. He loved to listen to country music, loved his lottery scratch tickets and was an animal lover, especially his 3 fur baby cats. He married the love of his life, Penelope, who survives him.

Left behind to cherish his memory in addition to his wife are his 4 children, Samuel Evans, Jr., Brian Evans, Michele Evans, and Amy (David) McAllister. Brothers Joseph Evans and Chauncey Evans, sisters, Melvina Ayant, Hazel Evans, and Ida Fishback and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death is one grandchild.
