Sharon Maruski

Sharon Maruski, age 79 of Upper St. Clair, passed away Monday July 14, 2025, in her home. She was born August 17, 1945, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Andrew M. and Jennie Retzel Radinsky Sharon was raised in Canonsburg, where she was a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School class of 1963, and a graduate of Indiana University where she earned her teaching degree. Prior to her retirement Sharon was a teacher in the Pittsburgh City Schools. She had been a member of St Patrick Roman Catholic Church while in Canonsburg and a member of St. Thomas Moore Church in Bethel Park. Sharon enjoyed traveling in her younger years. Left behind to cherish her memory are her beloved sons, Andrew J. Maruski (Melissa Doak) and John A. Maruski, both of Bethel Park, her sister Alexandra (Sandy) Danburg of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Deceased is her brother Dr. Allen M. Radinsky.

Friends and family are welcome from 2 pm until 6 pm Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg (724) 745-8120, where departing prayers will be recited at 9:40 am Friday July 18, 2025. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am in St. Oscar Romero Parish, St. Patrick Church 317West Pike Street Canonsburg. Interment will follow in Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg.
