Theodore J.” Ted” Sworcheck age 82 of Canonsburg passed away peacefully Friday May 27, 2022, in St. Clair Hospital Mt Lebanon Twp. He was born March 16, 1940, in Marianna a son of the late Theodore and Josephine Tambuorine Sworcheck. Mr. Sworcheck lived in the Canonsburg area for the past 50 years and was a faithful member of St. Oscar Romero Parish, St. Patrick Church. He was a graduate of Bethlehem Jointure High School and he proudly served with the United States Army. Prior to his retirement he had been employed at the former McGraw Edison and Cooper Industries in Canonsburg. He drove bus for Peters Twp. School District and was a Sultans Car Club member, the Washington County Model Aviation Association, a life member of Falcon Archers and a member of Broddacks Model Aviation. On May 11, 1960, he married Rebecca Barbe who survives after 62 years of marriage. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved children, Pamela L. (John) Aquilino of Canonsburg, Suzanne R (Shaun) Holsen of Washington and Theodore V. (Lucinda) Sworcheck of Canonsburg, four grandchildren Ian (Katherine Amatrudo) and Evan (Rebecca Fontana) Aquilino, Alyssa and Alana Sworcheck, a brother John Benjamin (Ellen) Sworcheck of Marianna and several nieces, nephews and friends.
