Theresa A. Timan, 91, of McMurray PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, in her home with her family by her side. She was born on July 15, 1934, in Houston PA, a daughter of Andy and Elizabeth Martin. She was a lifelong member of St. Patrick’s Church/St. Oscar Romero Parish in Canonsburg. Theresa was a graduating member of the Class of 1952 of Chartiers High School. On September 1, 1956, she married Andrew Timan of Muse, who passed away on September 17, 2009, after 53 years of marriage. Theresa worked as a waitress at Jimmy’s in Houston PA in the 1950s and then at the Meadows Racetrack in Washington PA for over thirty years. She enjoyed time spent with her family, especially with and caring for her grandson Michael. Over the years, she enjoyed polka dancing, weekly aerobics class, flower gardening, and bowling, and attended the Canonsburg Senior Center for many years. She liked watching the hummingbirds from her sitting room. Surviving is her beloved grandson Michael Hayduk, and daughters, Sandra (Mark) Hayduk of Canonsburg and Lori (Paul Stilp) Timan of Crozet VA. In addition to her husband and parents, Theresa was preceded in death by her sisters Marjorie Medofer, Elizabeth Sebastian and Carolyn Fela and her brothers Andrew, John, Joseph, Edward and Robert.

Private family visitation will be held at Salandra funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg (724) 745-8120. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Saturday, February 14, 2026, in St. Oscar Romero Parish St Patrick Church 317 West Pike Street Canonsburg. Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Twp. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to OSPTA Home Health and Hospice.
