Thomas E. D’Amico age 67 of Venetia, passed away peacefully in his home Monday November 25, 2019 following a heroic 2-year battle with pancreatic cancer, with his beloved family by his side. He was born May 28, 1952 in Canonsburg a son of the late Carlo E. and Ethel Lou Cloud D’Amico. Tom was a steel worker employed at Dynamet and a member of the United Steel Workers of America Local 14693. He lived in Venetia for 19 years and was Lutheran by faith. Tom was a volunteer firefighter with the South Strabane Twp. fire department where he had served as chief. He was a member of the United States Army Reserve, was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan and enjoyed watching television, especially Game of Thrones. Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved daughter Nicole Sefcik and her husband Rob of Canonsburg, his dear aunt Gloria D’Amico and cousins Lisa Speer and her husband Harvey and Linda Romano and her husband John all of Canonsburg.

Friends and family are welcome from 4 to 6 pm Monday December 2, 2019 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg 724-745-8120. A celebration of Tom’s life will follow at Salandra’s Remembrances Tribute Center 248 West Pike Street Canonsburg. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations in Toms name to the South Strabane Fire Department 172 Oak spring Road, Washington PA 15301.
