Warren M. Briggs, 64, of Hanover Township, Luzerne County, formerly of Piscataway, NJ, died at 12:10 AM Wednesday, April 1, 2009 in Somerset Medical Center, NJ.
He was born January 21, 1945, in Washington, a son of Warren M. and Ruth McDonald Briggs Sr.
Before his retirement, he was a fork lift operator for the Coca-Cola Bottling Company in New Brunswick, NJ.
Surviving are a son, Warren M. Briggs III of Hanover Township; two daughters, Alice (John) Wolfinger of Monroe, NC and Gina (Jamie) Little of Watertown, NY; a brother Donald (Gladys) Briggs of Meadow Lands; three sisters, Margaret Gallo of Washington, Martha Tsampis of Edison, NJ and Mabel Wesley of Piscataway; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Deceased are three brothers.
Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8 PM the of service, Friday, April 3, in Salandra Funeral Service, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg. Interment will be private.
