William R. Warnick Jr.

William R. Warnick Jr. passed away on June 11, 2026, following a brave battle with illness. He was 70 years old, just days away from his 71st birthday.

William spent his career as a skilled heavy equipment operator and was a proud retired member of the Operating Engineers Local 66. A true social butterfly, Bill loved to chat, gab, and swap stories with anyone he crossed paths with. In his retirement, he found great joy in tinkering and fixing things around the house and yard, and caring for his family pets and local wildlife.

For over 30 years, William was the devoted husband of Elaine V. Cole. Together, they shared a beautiful, quiet life filled with deep love and mutual dedication.

He is survived and will be deeply missed by his wife, Elaine; his stepdaughter, Carey Vallor-Bell, and her husband, Raymond L. Bell Jr.; his step-grandson, Michael J. Schnore Vallor; and his cousins, Cathy Romano, Ron Cianelli, and Nick Cianelli.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in William's honor to your local animal shelter.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc, Joseph P. Salandra, Owner/Supervisor, 304 West Pike St, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120. At the family’s request, there will be no service.
