Zbigniew Jan “John” Kaczmarek

Zbigniew Jan “John” Kaczmarek, age 66 of Canonsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 4, 2025, in his home with his family by his side. He was born September 6, 1958, in Sliwno, Poland, a son of the late Kazimierz and Maria Slaboszewska Kaczmarek. John lived in the Canonsburg area since 2000 and was a faithful member of St Oscar Romero Parish St. Patrick Church. He was a self-employed Computer Engineer and enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. On April 28, 1984, he married Barbara M. Buszta, who survives after 41 years together. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved children, Patricia M. Kaczmarek of Canonsburg and Peter J. Kaczmarek of Pittsburgh, two brothers Jacek (Alexandra) Kaczmarek of South Carolina and Piotr (Hanna) Kaczmarek of Poland and several nieces, nephews and other family member s in Poland.

Family and friends are welcome from 4pm until 6 pm on Sunday September 7, 2025, at Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg (724)745-8120 where departing prayers will be recited at 9:40 am Monday September 8, 2025. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am in St Oscar Romero Parish St. Patrick Church 317 West Pike Street Canonsburg. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
