Betty Jane Wallo

Betty Jane Wallo age 97 of Washington formerly of Houston passed away peacefully Monday morning, May 29, 2023, in TownView Health and Rehabilitation Center Canonsburg. She was born March 16, 1926, in Eighty-Four, a daughter of the late William and Mary Pisczo Opatt. Betty was a faithful member of St. Oscar Romero Parish St. Patrick Church. She was a graduate of Trinity High School and Penn Commercial Business School. Prior to her retirement as a supervisor, she was employed with Columbia Gas for many years. Betty enjoyed shopping and being with her family. Her husband John E. Wallo passed away May 9, 1974. Left behind to cherish her memory is her sister Martha O’Conner from the State of California, her devoted nieces, Bonnie (Ray) Caumo of Meadowlands and Mary (Dr. Al ) Changco of Canonsburg, her nephew William (Barbara) Opatt of Pleasant Hills, her special grand niece Kelsey Changco of Canonsburg and many nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are her siblings, Mark Opatt, Mildred Opatt, James, William and Harry Opatt.

A private family visitation will be held in SALANDRA FUNERAL and CREMATION SERVICES, INC. Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street Canonsburg Friday June 2, 2023. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon, in St Oscar Romero Parish St. Patrick Church 317 West Pike Street Canonsburg. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery Peters Twp.
