Blanche Laverne McNurlen

Blanche Laverne McNurlen, age 96 of Muse was a wonderful woman and welcomed home to the Lord on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.  She was born October 22, 1925, the daughter of the late Angelo and Betina (Oliver) Rubis. 

On May 12, 1950, she married Raymond J. McNurlen who died August 30, 2000.  A loving mother to daughter Terry Yoest (and her late husband Gerard Yoest), son Ray McNurlen (Jamie).  Grandmother to Heather Depsky, Shane Yoest (April), Terra Handyside (Brent), Scott Domski, Justin McNurlen and Jesse McNurlen (Rachel) and many great-grandchildren.

She worked at the Hollywood Bar-B-Q for many years and loved going to Bingo with her friends.  She had four dogs who brought such joy to her life.  She had a caregiver for the last three years, Perry Berlin, who loved to dance, play games, and make her laugh.  Blanche had such a kind, giving heart and will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.  Blanche was the last of her immediate family of nine brothers and sisters.  May she rest in peace with the Lord!

Friends and family are welcome on Monday, April 25, 2022 from 10 am-12 Noon in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner/supervisor, 304 W. Pike Street, Canonsburg, where funeral services will be held at 12 Noon.  Interment in Oak Spring Cemetery.
