Margaret F. "Marge" Short

Margaret F. “Marge” Short age 86 of Carrick passed away peacefully Saturday April 2, 2022, in the home of her daughter with her family by her side. She was born February 14, 1936, in Pittsburgh a daughter of the late James and Frances Zelinski Stuckert. Marge lived her life in Carrick where she graduated from St. Canice High School and attended St. Basil Roman Catholic Church. Prior to her retirement at 78 she had been employed in sales at the former Fashion Bug. Marge loved helping raise her two beloved granddaughters, family get togethers, watching the Golden Girls and eating jellybeans. On January 6, 1956, she married Thomas Short who passed away September 27, 1997. Left behind to cherish her memory are her devoted children, Deborah Short (Mary) with whom she made her home, Thomas J. Short (John) of Charlotte NC and Kathy Short (Keith) of Washington, two beloved granddaughters, Amaiya and Reina Lewis, sister Dolores Stuckert of Canonsburg, dear friend Joyce Robinson, her support dog Opie, several nieces, nephews and friends. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are two brothers James and Robert Stuckert.

Friends and family are welcome from 10 am until noon the time of services on Wednesday April 6, 2022, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Joseph P.
